The 1989 Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was played between March 9 and March 12, 1989, at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California. Like the previous year, both #1 and #2 seeds were in the final. Stanford made its first appearance in the final game, facing the top seeded Wildcats. The champion of the tournament was Arizona, which received the Pac-10's automatic bid to the 1989 NCAA Tournament. The Most Outstanding Player was Sean Elliott of Arizona.
